For more local, relaxed things to do: there is a fun Farmer's Market about 15 minute walk from the Cottage. There is a farmer's basket in entry closet for you to use. Every Saturday 9-2 (April to October). It's fun to tool around the Downtown shops nearby the Pioneer Park down Meridian.
